STEPHEN GORMAN'S ARCTIC PHOTOGRAPHS HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN AN EXHIBITION PUT ON BY THE UNITED STATES EMBASSY IN OTTAWA, CANADA, IN CELEBRATION OF CANADA'S 150TH ANNIVERSARY. THE EXHIBITION IS LOCATED AT THE INTERNATIONAL PAVILION IN OTTAWA. IT IS SCHEDULED TO TOUR THROUGHOUT CANADA IN THE COMING YEAR.

 

Stephen was the only American photographer chosen by the U.S. Department of State to exhibit his Arctic photographs in an exhibition celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary. That exhibition - Eyes on the Arctic - U.S. - Canadian Cooperation in the North - toured the United States Embassy and U.S. Consulates across Canada, including Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Halifax, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Calgary.

Eyes on the Arctic This photography exhibition showcases the lives of Arctic Indigenous peoples and U.S.-Canada cooperation on Arctic issues, including research, wildlife, and the environment.

Stephen Gorman is the primary American photographer whose works are included in the exhibition.
